Sinopsis. / Synopsis.
La vida de Sebastián da un giro cuando sus circunstancias económicas le obligan a volver a casa de sus padres. Mientras busca trabajo, se mete en Tinder, hace match con Eduardo e inician una relación idílica. No obstante, sin motivación aparente, Eduardo deja de contestar a sus mensajes y le bloquea. Sin ninguna explicación a este rechazo, Sebastián, inspirándose en el protagonista del anime Detective Conan, inicia una investigación para conocer los motivos por los que Eduardo le ha hecho ghosting. Sin embargo, este viaje le lleva a enfrentarse contra fantasmas mucho más primarios que los de internet.
Sebastián’s life takes a turn when financial difficulties force him to move back in with his parents. While job hunting, he joins Tinder, matches with Eduardo, and they begin an idyllic relationship. However, without any apparent reason, Eduardo stops replying to his messages and blocks him. With no explanation for this rejection, Sebastián, inspired by the protagonist of the anime Detective Conan, embarks on an investigation to uncover why Eduardo ghosted him. Yet this journey ultimately leads him to confront ghosts far more primal than those of the internet.

"El caso del amor fantasma" es un monodrama sobre el amor y la pérdida en el mundo contemporáneo. Una generación que no se encuentra. Una comunicación pérdida. El desvanecimiento de las pasiones en el capitalismo digital. A través de un lenguaje que combina lo lírico, lo irónico y lo cotidiano, la obra se constituye como un aviso a la peligrosidad de abandonar los afectos igual que abandonamos a nuestros fantasmas y sobre la ternura y el misterio como fuerzas revolucionarias.
El caso del amor fantasma is a monodrama about love and loss in the contemporary world. A generation that fails to connect. A communication lost. The fading of passion in digital capitalism. Through a language that blends the lyrical, the ironic, and the everyday, the play becomes a warning about the dangers of abandoning our affections just as we abandon our ghosts, and about tenderness and mystery as revolutionary forces.

Biografía. / Biography.
Le dijeron en una de sus primeras clases de teatro que había dos perfiles en la dramaturgia: quienes venían de las artes escénicas y quienes venían de la literatura. Él pertenece al segundo grupo. Al cumplir los dieciocho, cursó estudios de Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Murcia. Dos años después, cursó el Máster en Formación del Profesorado junto al de Estudios Latinoamericanos en la Universidad de Granada. Durante su estancia en esta ciudad, aprovechó para formarse teatralmente en talleres de dirección, interpretación, creación escénica y escritura dramática. Más adelante, decidió profesionalizarse e ingresó en la Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Murcia para cursar el grado en Dirección Escénica y Dramaturgia. Durante este proceso, ha recibido formación de pedagogos teatrales como Gracia Morales, José Sanchís Sinisterra, María Velasco, Sergio Martínez Vila, Denise Despeyroux, Andrés Lima o Marcelo Díaz.
They told him in one of his first theater classes that there are two profiles in dramaturgy: those who come from the performing arts and those who come from literature. He belongs to the second group. At the age of eighteen, he studied Hispanic Philology at the University of Murcia. Two years later, he pursued a Master's in Education and Latin American Studies at the University of Granada. During his time in this city, he took the opportunity to train theatrically in workshops on direction, acting, scenic creation, and dramatic writing. Later on, he decided to professionalize and entered the Higher School of Dramatic Art of Murcia to study the degree in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy. During this process, he received training from theater pedagogues such as Gracia Morales, José Sanchís Sinisterra, María Velasco, Sergio Martínez Vila, Denise Despeyroux, Andrés Lima, and Marcelo Díaz.
Escritura. / Style.
«La desprotección, la carencia y el misterio forman el triángulo desde el que proyecto un universo dramático que se define y redefine en cada proceso creativo. Entiendo la creación artística como un acto de expresión desprendida de todo accesorio moralista o pedagógico, estrechamente vinculada a lo difícilmente aprensible, a lo que se resiste a ser explicado y definido. De ese modo, busco mediante la dramaturgia explorar las grietas y patologías que configuran las tensiones de lo contemporáneo. Estas tensiones son tanto personales como políticas, ya que habitan en mi sociedad tanto como habitan en mi cuerpo. Creo en el teatro como un espacio emancipador donde la imaginación colectiva, colonizada por las opresiones contemporáneas, encuentra un espacio de libertad y autonomía efímeras, así como la capacidad para construir nuevas subjetividades, relatos e imaginarios.» (Pablo López Pellicer).
«Vulnerability, lack, and mystery form the triangle from which I project a dramatic universe that is defined and redefined in each creative process. I understand artistic creation as an act of expression detached from any moralistic or pedagogical accessory, closely linked to what is difficult to grasp, to what resists being explained and defined. In this way, I seek through dramaturgy to explore the cracks and pathologies that shape the tensions of the contemporary. These tensions are both personal and political, as they inhabit my society as much as they inhabit my body. I believe in theater as an emancipatory space where collective imagination, colonized by contemporary oppressions, finds a space of ephemeral freedom and autonomy, as well as the capacity to build new subjectivities, narratives, and imaginaries.» (Pablo López Pellicer).
