Sinopsis. / Synopsis.
Instrucciones para entrar a Europa es el latido de los cuerpos que huyen porque quedarse es morir, una geografía rota donde el polvo de las bombas se confunde con el suelo frío de la luna. No es una crónica de fronteras, sino el murmullo de un mar que no recuerda los nombres y devuelve a la orilla los restos de la vida. Es la historia de un nudo en la garganta que une la vida y la muerte en mitad de la noche.
Instructions for Entering Europe is the heartbeat of bodies fleeing because staying means dying — a fractured geography where the dust of bombs blends with the cold surface of the moon. It is not a chronicle of borders, but the murmur of a sea that no longer remembers names and returns to the shore the remnants of life. It is the story of a knot in the throat that binds life and death in the middle of the night.

Biografía. / Biography.
Juan Asego es dramaturgo, actor y director. Su trabajo investiga los vínculos entre cuerpo, palabra, emoción e identidad contemporánea, desarrollando una práctica artística centrada en nuevas formas de sensibilidad y representación escénica. Graduado en Interpretación Textual por la ESAD de Málaga y Máster en Teatro y Artes Escénicas por la UCM, ha ampliado su formación con creadores como Paco Bezerra, Teatro Praga, Colectivo Fango, Andrea Jiménez, Alberto Velasco, Francesco Carril y Borja Ortiz de Gondra, además de formarse en guion de ficción cinematográfica con RTVE. Su trabajo explora la vulnerabilidad, la memoria y las tensiones que atraviesan las identidades contemporáneas desde una mirada íntima y política. Desde 2015 desarrolla proyectos presentados en festivales y espacios de referencia a nivel estatal. Paralelamente, impulsa procesos de mediación artística y creación con distintos colectivos, donde el cuerpo, la escritura y la palabra funcionan como herramientas de expresión, escucha y construcción colectiva.
Juan Asego is a playwright, actor, and director. His work explores the connections between body, language, emotion, and contemporary identity, developing an artistic practice focused on new forms of sensibility and stage representation. He holds a degree in Acting (Text-Based Performance) from the ESAD of Málaga and a Master’s in Theatre and Performing Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has further trained with artists such as Paco Bezerra, Teatro Praga, Colectivo Fango, Andrea Jiménez, Alberto Velasco, Francesco Carril, and Borja Ortiz de Gondra, as well as in screenwriting for film and television with RTVE. His work explores vulnerability, memory, and the tensions that traverse contemporary identities from an intimate yet political perspective. Since 2015, he has developed projects presented in festivals and leading venues across Spain. In parallel, he leads artistic mediation and creation processes with different collectives, where body, writing, and language function as tools for expression, listening, and collective construction.
Escritura. / Style.
«Escribo por la necesidad de decir aquello que, en la vida, muchas veces no sé cómo nombrar. Para poner mis palabras en otros cuerpos y escuchar cómo suenan fuera de mí aquellas preguntas, heridas, deseos y contradicciones que me atraviesan. Muchas veces escribo sobre aquello que me incomoda, me obsesiona o me desborda, porque ahí suele aparecer algo verdadero. Pienso que en lo cotidiano habita la grieta, un peligro o una extrañeza capaz de romper la aparente normalidad. Historias donde conviven la vulnerabilidad, el humor, la violencia, la ternura y la contradicción humana. He descubierto que escribir no siempre me ordena, pero sí me vuelve más honesto. Y quizá también un poco mejor persona.» (Juan Asego).
«I write out of the need to say what, in life, I often don’t know how to name. To place my words in other bodies and hear how those questions, wounds, desires and contradictions that run through me sound once they are outside of me. I often write about what unsettles me, obsesses me, or overwhelms me, because that is where something true usually appears. I believe that in the everyday there lies a crack — a danger or strangeness capable of breaking apparent normality. Stories in which vulnerability, humour, violence, tenderness and human contradiction coexist. I have discovered that writing does not always bring me order, but it does make me more honest. And perhaps also a slightly better person.» (Juan Asego).
